Live Love Laugh Learn

Today was a beautiful, crisp winter day in central Indiana. The sun was shining and I was in the mood to tackle a project. I repainted my bathroom and attempted to reorganize a few areas in my house.

School will be starting back up next week, and I am trying to get as much accomplished at home before then. Come Monday the 4th, I'll be back in the classroom, and my students will have first priority.

Not to mention, I will also be helping my daughter plan a wedding! She was given the most beautiful engagement ring on Christmas morning. She has been as giddy as a child ever since. I'm so happy for her! How blessed we are to have such a wonderful young man with whom she has fallen in love.

Today was a typical day in the life of a middle school teacher. I fell asleep in the car after pulling in my driveway and before going inside the house; I also had a load of groceries in the backseat. Does that give you a picture of my usual day with middle schoolers???
